Questions

What owners ask first. What parents ask first.

Do I need IT staff?

No. During the pilot we install Nullwire for you and walk you through your first report. Every email is written for the person who owns the business. If you have an IT provider, they get a copy.

Does it work on Macs and phones?

Windows PCs and Macs today. Phones need no app: they are covered through the Network Node at your router, which ships early 2027. Until then phones are not covered, and we say so.

What happens if you find something?

You get an email that says what was found, how serious it looks and what to do today. Nullwire never deletes or locks anything, so you stay in control of each step. On Complete an alert also gets a phone call from your analyst.

Can you see my files or emails?

No. It looks at which programs run, what they connect to and what starts with the computer. It never opens documents, email or messages. Passwords and keys are masked before anything reaches an AI.

Will it slow my computers?

The checker is a small program that takes a snapshot once a minute and uses no deep system driver. On a typical office computer running about 400 programs (illustrative) a snapshot finishes in under 15 seconds. During your free week you can tell us if anyone notices a slowdown.

Is this antivirus?

No, and you can keep yours. Antivirus tries to stop known bad programs. Nullwire watches everything that runs and everything your network talks to, has an AI read the day, and tells you in plain English. Most of what it finds is not malware. It is a tool someone left behind, an account nobody closed, a setting that drifted.

What is the 7-day Exposure Report?

We install Nullwire on your computers, watch for a week, then sit down with you and show what we found: every program, every outside connection, everything that starts by itself, and what we would fix first. It is free and it is yours to keep whether you continue or not.

What does “your price never goes up” mean?

The price you sign up at is the price you renew at, for as long as your subscription stays active. We publish our prices and we do not run first-year discounts that double later.

Who reads my data?

A small program on each computer collects what runs and what it connects to. That data is redacted, then read by an AI model and, on Complete, by your analyst. It is not sold and it is not used to train anything. Read the privacy note at the foot of this page.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from a link in the email. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month; yearly plans are refunded for unused full months.

Is this antivirus?

No, and you can keep yours. Antivirus tries to block known bad programs and then tells you “protected”. Nullwire tells you every morning what actually ran on your family’s computers and whether anything needs you. Most of what it finds is a program a kid installed, an extension that phones home, or a remote-control tool nobody remembers.

Will you read our messages or see our photos?

No. It never opens files, photos, email or messages. It looks at which programs run, what they connect to and what starts with the computer. Passwords and keys are masked before any AI sees a line.

Does it watch what my kids do online?

No, and it cannot. Without the Node it only sees the computers it is installed on, and only which programs run and connect. With the Node it sees which websites every device on the Wi-Fi asks for, as a list of domains, not pages, and it blocks the ones known for ads, trackers and malware. It does not read anyone’s screen or messages.

Phones and tablets?

Only with the Node, which sits at your router and covers them with no app. Without it, Nullwire covers the Windows and Mac computers you install it on.

What if you find something?

You get an email that says what it is, how serious it looks and the one step to take today, written for a person, not a technician. Nullwire never deletes or locks anything, so nothing on the computer breaks. Reply to the email and a person answers.

Is it hard to install?

One download per computer, two minutes each. We will do it with you on a call if you like. The Node plugs into your router with one cable; we set it up remotely.

Why C$15 a month when antivirus is cheaper?

Antivirus is C$40 to 60 the first year and C$95 to 145 when it renews, and it still cannot tell you whether someone is in your computer. Nullwire has a frontier AI read every program on every computer every day and a person on the other end of the email. The price is the same every year.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from a link in the email. Yearly plans are refunded for unused full months. The Node is yours if you bought it.
